The Slope Maintenance Department is continuing on with trail clean-up as part of the MPVMP. As the tree islands are thinned of beetle infested trees, several boulders that were pushed to the trail edges when these trails were first established have become more exposed. The crew is utilizing a large excavator and dump-truck to remove these boulders from the trails and instead use them for retaining walls along our road system to our upper parking lots.
