Every spring, we send some of our crew to the two ski area conferences in Grand Junction, CO. Last week, the crew from Lift Maintenance Crew and Lift Operations attended the Rocky Mountain Lift Association conference. This is a four day conference that offers six main categories of courses to attend; electrical, maintenance, general, operational, safety and supervisory. I’ve attended this conference a few times and there is a lot of great information here. This week, we have our Vehicle Maintenance team at the Ski Area Vehicle Maintenance Institute conference. Tons of good training and info at this one as well and gets the guys dialed in for summer maintenance season where we go deep on our machines.
