season operating plan

UPDATED 9/8/21

We all know that outdoor recreation is a great way to enjoy sharing our passions. As such, we have prepared our Operating Plan for the 2021-22 season with that enjoyment, and your health and safety in mind.

recommendations to consider while planning your visit

  • Avoid weekends when possible.  If given a choice, we strongly recommend skiing weekdays – continue with the “Weekday Warrior” movement.  We know this is not possible for everyone, but those who can and do will be helping those who cannot.

  • Avoid historically busy days.  This season they are Dec. 26 through Jan. 02, MLK and President’s Day weekends.  Let’s let our more holiday constrained visitors have some fun during this time.

  • Make reservations for your visit ahead of time to save yourself time at any window once you’re here.

  • If, at the time of your visit, you are feeling sick, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 and are not vaccinated, reschedule your visit for another time.

  • Nearer to your visit, check this page again for any changes.

  • It is still important to “know before you go”. Keep checking skimonarch.com for developing stories and updates or stay in the loop by signing up for our newsletter.

  • 2021-22 Monarch Season Pass holders will have access to the lifts any day of the week all season long. No blackout dates and no reservation needed.
  • Any holder of a 4-pack ticket purchased at a preseason sales event or using their Season Pass 4-pack benefit will have access to the lifts all season long except for blacked out dates as designated on the ticket: Dec. 26 through Jan. 2, and Feb. 19 and 20.
  • Purchasers of online tickets will have access to the lifts on the day they select, if available, and as designated on their confirmation email. The number of tickets sold each day might vary should we need to reduce peak visitation periods.
  • Advance purchase of lift tickets is not required though strongly recommended. Purchasing tickets online at least the day before you arrive will save you time once you get here.
  • The following types of lift ticket must be purchased at the ticket window (not available online): Child, Super-Senior, Military, Migration, Mountain Exchange, Coupons/Vouchers and Real Deals.
