It has taken every ounce of patience we could muster, but the day has finally come. At 10:30AM this morning we will be opening the Pioneer and Caterpillar lifts. We have limited access to the mountain but do have 22 runs open off the Pioneer Lift as well as Butterfly and Snowflake, which we affectionately call “Butterflake.” The Panorama Lift is still closed for now, but we are working our tails off to get it open in the near future. We are doing the best we can spreading out the 9 inches we received, but it will take a bit more to get any of the steeps open, so keep your snow dances going. We need it. Although early season conditions exist on the mountain, they do not exist in the Sidewinder Saloon, Java Stop or Elation Sports. Come check us out! We are eager to see you again!
