The Slope Maintenance department grooms several of our trails with a split between groomed and ungroomed. This allows those that enjoy fresh corduroy to slice down a smooth surface on several of our advanced and intermediate trails. It also gives the powder and bump aficionados an option to enjoy on the other half of the trail. We utilize anchor posts for many of these steeper slopes for our winch cats. The winch anchors are posts buried in the ground that have a large cable to clip into. The operator then lowers the cat down the slopes before pulling itself back to the top.
