Loveland Cat Skiing

I had an opportunity to visit our friends at Loveland Ski Area and check out their recently approved cat skiing operation. They had stopped by Monarch and skied with us on our snowcat a few seasons ago. This new terrain at Loveland is located north of the ski area in the Dry Gulch basin. Loveland has run a ridge cat from the top of Lift 9 for many years giving guests a taste of what cat skiing is like. This new venture will be an experience where guests may tour this zone for a full day separate from the ski area. They plan to officially open cat skiing to the public next season. We had a bluebird day with some recent fresh snow. Yet another perk of working in the ski industry!
