Today is our last event as part of NSAA Safety Month. Our messaging is covering Park Smart and Freestyle Terrain safety. A Terrain Park is a designated area with man-made features such as jumps, rails and boxes to slide across. Smart Style is a terrain park safety initiative that highlights key safety tips that you should know before entering a terrain park.

When using the terrain parks, practice Smart Style:

START SMALL – Work your way up. Build your skills.

MAKE A PLAN – Every feature. Every time.

ALWAYS LOOK – Before you drop.

RESPECT – The features and other users.

TAKE IT EASY – Know your limits. Land on your feet.

Monarch has two terrain parks. Tilt is our beginner park with smaller features, and Never Summer is our larger park for more advanced skiers and riders. Visit our website to learn more about our freestyle terrain and Park Smart.

Monarch Mountain is an equal opportunity provider and operates under a special use permit with the Pike San Isabel National Forest.
