On top of the Continental Divide and down from the top of the Panorama Lift, you can find our Peak Locator. More specifically, it can be located right on the ridge crest along Skywalker between the top of Short-N-Sweet & Quickdraw ski trails. Pick A Peak has all the prominent peaks labeled along the outer ridge of the butterfly and a movable dial that can be targeted at unknown summits in the distance. From here you can identify peaks in the Front Range, Sangre De Cristo Range, San Juan Range, Elk Mountains, the Sawatch Range, and other sub-ranges. Pick A Peak existed for decades before falling into disrepair. A former marketing colleague, Eric Ramsey, made it his personal project a decade or so ago to restore this guest experience. The locator is hovering just above the deep snowpack this year, but you can still pick a peak.

Monarch Mountain is an equal opportunity provider and operates under a special use permit with the Pike San Isabel National Forest.
