It has been a crazy night. The forecasts have been all over the place. A few of my friends and I slept on site last night just to make sure all went well. Although the power went out for a few hours, it came back on around midnight. CDOT did some avalanche mitigation on Highway 50 at Big Slide starting a 3AM and just reported (5AM) that it is all cleaned up and ready to go. We received about a foot of fresh stuff and it is still snowing hard. Look to see another foot throughout the day.
