Tis the season to refine your skills and invest in one or more of these 2.5 hour specialized clinics. Get better, gain confidence and have more fun!! For upper beginners to advanced skiers or snowboarders, ages 16+. Powder instruction included should your clinic happen to land on a powder day (wohoo!).

Plan on getting faster for the Town Challenge or just having fun with the local race series? This clinic is designed for everyone who wants some feedback on how to move quicker down the course and have fun learning to run gates efficiently. You’ll work on fast starts, quick edge changes, optimal line selection and strong finishes in a competitive and friendly environment. A racecourse will be set on Freeway run to give you a realistic look at your areas of improvement. (clinic participants only).*

Want to get better at your own pace while sharing your progress with other women? Want to find other friends to enjoy your new winter passion? We’ve got you! These clinics are for ladies only, designed to give a positive atmosphere and stoke around like-minded women who are interested in progressing in snow sports. Ski and Snowboard groups will be put together by ability and motivation. Coaching geared towards the group’s desired area of focus, as well as the exploration of different tactics for whatever terrain excites you the most. For ladies only; lead by Certified female SnoPros.

Interested in trying out or improving your skills on telemark skis? Free your heels and your mind in these telemark-specific clinics aimed to develop proper technique for skiers of all levels. Instruction is customized to ability and theme for the week. Who knows? Free-heeling may just be the perfect slide for you! Let our Certified SnowPro’s show you the way to “Tele till you’re smelly!”

This clinic will get you on edge and help you smooth out all phases of your turn to unlock the true essence of Carving down the mountain. Our certified SnoPros will foster a comprehensive understanding of managing speed and turn shape, while sharing the passion and thrill for carved turns. Participants are grouped by ability and type of equipment so no matter whether you’re on greens, blues or blacks, you’re sure to be crushing all natural corduroy all over Monarch. Gotta love those beautiful S-turns! Smooooth sailing!

Let our certified SnoPro build your confidence and ability by helping you to improve your tactics and maneuvers. Overcome subtle balance issues that may cause fatigue and explore movement patterns that will have you ripping steeps all day long. Groups will be by ability level, designed to make you feel safe while pursuing new terrain. Lose the intimidation and expand your horizons!

This Clinic is for all who want to conquer the off-piste. Whether it’s easy going green and blue bumps, or our extreme moguls down the Gunbarrel, we will guide you toward efficiency and fun! Learn where, when and how to make smooth, snappy turns through the troff and set yourself up to have the upper hand in all your bump adventures. Let our certified SnoPros be your guide to success! For the skier/rider who wants to delve into various tactics to develop skills needed to confidently and safely ski/ride in the trees. Participants will have the opportunity to explore easy, open glades to more difficult tree runs with the guidance of an experienced and certified SnoPro. We will cultivate movement priorities that focus on safety, speed control and quick turns through the wonderful glades monarch has to offer. Your next powder stash is waiting to be discovered, let us tune up your skills to get there!

Master the mountain so you can explore it all! Ski or ride any run, anywhere, in any condition. Instruction will be geared towards developing skills to perform your best anywhere on the mountain as you will be exploring Garfield, Pano Ridge, Breezeway and No Name Basin. Groups are formed based on ability, motivation and general areas of exploration. Go places you may never have gone before and see all that Monarch has to offer!

Chomping at the bit to get back to No Name Basin to explore all of its possibilities? Let a Monarch Certified SnowPro guide you to the best of the best, showing you the goods of the basin! The clinic will be focused on all terrain aspects in the No Name Basin, giving you the know-how and confidence to explore the terrain you desire. From the tree stashes in Eureka, the endless bumps of Ambush, or the technical glades of North Star, we have you covered to learn more about the new terrain, and your skills to enjoy it! This clinic is best suited for skiers and riders who feel more confident with Blue terrain and ready to progress in similar situations.
