Monarch Mountain Community Outreach

Monarch Mountain supports its local community and surrounding areas in various ways. Aside from being one of the larger employers in Chaffee County bringing visitors from around the country to play, stay, eat and shop not only at the ski area but also at neighboring businesses, Monarch provides support to organizations through charitable grants, sponsorships and in-kind donations.

If you are in need of support, please read about these three options and determine how we might best help you. Please do not submit to more than one option. (Submission of multiple options will not be considered.)

Charitable Grants

Monarch Mountain has partnered with the Chaffee County Community Foundation to provide charitable grants to non-profit organizations in Chaffee County that help to raise up our community. The CCCF manages the Monarch Mountain Community Outreach Donor Advised Fund, which is supported by Monarch Mountain, its employees, other Monarch Mountain fundraisers and through donations from people like you that continue to help us help others. This partnership transition is currently in progress – grant applications under this new system opens April 1, 2025.

Event Sponsorship

Monarch Mountain Sponsorship monies are granted through our Marketing department and are primarily based on the reach to our target markets, and the marketing return for the level of sponsorship chosen.

In-kind Donations

To request an in-kind donation to support your fundraiser or other event, please use this form. The decision to grant this type of donation request is by a committee of Monarch Mountain personnel. Consideration is given to, among other things, whether or not we think our product(s) would have contributory value to your fundraiser.
