Aurora Borealis

What an amazing night!  The Aurora Borealis was on full display more than I can recall ever seeing in Colorado.  This shot of the Northern Lights was taken up at the Monarch Crest by Dave Frassati and included our classic Sno-Go in the foreground.  The Sno-Go was an early snow removal machine developed in the 1930’s right around the time Monarch was getting started up!  These powerful units were used in the early days to clear deep snow in places like Trail Ridge Road, Going-to-the-Sun, and Monarch Pass!
