This is that time of year we look overhead and the sky is a canvas of darkness that’s heavy with ominous looking clouds. Yet beneath this cloak of black, the ground is blanketed in snow.  The blackness of the sky seems to emphasize the brilliance of the snow as the sun bounces off the surface.  It’s always an amazing time to get out for a ski tour and see the contrast of the seasons as they overlap for a month or two.  It looks like we have more snow in the forecast for next week.  It’s not quite over yet.
