With No Name Basin open for skiing and riding, everyone has been out exploring the new terrain.  One of the best trails to discover right now is Eureka.  This trail is named for a common phrase used by miners and early explorers and was shouted out with joy and enthusiasm upon an unexpected discovery of gold.  Our team of snowcat operators has worked to create a very nice groomed route from the Prospector trail, down the service road, to lower Eureka.  This is currently the best groomed option in No Name Basin.  Once you find this well-groomed option from the top of the Continental Divide down to the bottom of the new Tomichi Lift, you may just find yourself yelling out…Eureka!
