A few of us were able to attend the NSAA Winter Conference at Palisades Tahoe in California this week.  The National Ski Areas Association is made up of over 300 ski areas across the nation and hosts this event at different resorts each winter season.  There were two days of great sessions that covered hot topics in the ski industry and some opportunities to catch up with good friends from other resorts.  Additionally, we had a few hours set aside each day to get out on the mountain and check out the stomping grounds for some of the most legendary skiers in the sport.  While the conditions were less than ideal for skiing the big lines, the mountain is still impressive with its massive terrain and huge drops.  Cruising around on the lift network was also a highlight as we loaded the Aerial Tram, the Funitel, the Base to Base Gondola, and the Mothership…KT-22.
