It wasn’t a lot of snow, but I saw it as the only chance to put skis on snow in October. We received around 6″ of snow although there was more in certain wind loaded areas. It was definitely more about the up than the down! I skinned around to take a look at the snow cover and evaluate if there were any blowdowns due to the high winds during the storm. Overall, things looked pretty good with minimal tree disturbance from this event.
The uphill policy remains the same this year as it has been in previous seasons. All users must have an uphill ticket valid for the 2020-21 winter season. This includes early (before we open) and late season (after we close) uphill travel.
This ticket is free to passholders and just a nominal fee ($20) for non-season pass holders. The uphill tickets may be picked up at the Mountain or at the Outpost in town. The uphill ticket is valid for the entire winter season. For more info on our uphill policy, check out our uphill page on the website.
