It’s our favorite time of year – We will be kicking off our 85th season on Friday, November 22, 2024.
Each year, our goal is to start the lifts as early as possible, and thanks to Mother Nature and the relentless efforts of our incredible mountain operations team, a November opening is happening! A special shoutout to Scott, Zach, Malcolm, Tyler, Mark and Lance for leading our team on the mountain. Their expertise in snow farming and strategically managing our early storms ensures that Monarch stays true to its roots with 100% natural snow.
Winter is what we live for! The energy at Monarch Mountain is unmatched, and it’s what motivates us all year long. Whether this is your first visit or you’ve been skiing Monarch your whole life, seeing smiles on our guests’ faces is what motivates us each day to deliver a memorable experience to each of you.

We have made great progress on our No Name expansion project and are primed to open this terrain with lift access in the 25/26 season, in the meantime, hold tight for some celebratory season passholder benefit announcements.
