Our MCS operators have been branching our snow roads out. They have built the over the snow road from the top of Mirkwood, along the Waterdog Ridge and up to the top of No Name peak. While we sleep in our warm beds, dreaming of tomorrow’s turns, our Slope Maintenance team is hard at work prepping the mountain. This dedicated crew starts their shift at 11pm each night. This last round of snow enabled our Ski Patrol crew to open another piece of terrain in Mirkwood. The Cat Skiing guides had been working this terrain along with our ski-packing crew for several weeks. This process involves explosives and lots of ski-cutting and side stepping down the slopes.
