It was a pretty sweet April Fool’s Day with 3″ of fresh snow this morning. We had a surprisingly beautiful day and it finally started snowing again in the late afternoon. Tomorrow could be a sneaky good day…I’m not kidding.
Another storm is on the horizon with a return to winter on the way. It’s looking like we will have some overnight snow along with a few more rounds on Monday and Monday night. I love this time of year when you can experience all kinds of weather during the week, during the day, and even by the hour.
Monarch is keeping an eye on the No Name terrain expansion as the USFS review process continues. We are hopeful that they will issue the final Decision Notice to approve the project prior to the snow melting so that work can begin in earnest this summer.
