One of our original lifts at Monarch was a T-Bar that topped out near what is now the top of the Little Joe ski trail.  This Contstam T-Bar had previously been used at the Tenderfoot Ski Area near the town of Victor, CO and was purchased by Monarch in 1957.  The foundations from this lift can still be seen along the line and this is still a really fun place to make some turns on a powder morning.  The Tumbelina lift provided an aerial route to the top of this hill in 1981.  We have since updated the mechanical components of the Tumbelina lift but it still provides many of our beginner skiers and riders their first aerial lift experience.
