Terms & Conditions
Season Passes
Season pass are to be used only by the person to whom it is assigned. Passes are non-transferable and cannot be sold to another person or transferred to another season. Use by anyone other than the assigned passholder constitutes fraud and will result in revocation of the pass and privileges without refund and may result in fines of up to $1,500.00. The cost to replace a pass is $20.
Season passholders may purchase 3rd party insurance through TravelGuard, which provides for refunds under certain circumstances. This insurance costs 7% of the pass purchase price. It can be purchased at the time the pass is purchased, or up to 24 hours prior to the effective date of the season pass. More information can be found at travelguard.com/multievent. Monarch Mountain does not provide refunds on season passes.
Lift Ticket 4-Packs
4-Packs are available for purchase by the general public in the fall prior to the upcoming season at announced events only, and by Monarch season passholders (does not apply to Child pass) throughout the specific season. 4-Pack lift tickets are valid at Monarch only, any day of the season except on the blackout dates specified on the lift ticket.
4-Pack lift tickets can be used by anyone and do not need to be used on the same day. They cannot be transferred to a different season, are non-refundable, and are not for resale on any platform. Unused tickets are void after the close of the specified season. No refunds are provided for any reason.

In the event of an unexpected, full-day, all-mountain closure full refunds will be provided. Partial refunds may be provided for unexpected partial day, all-mountain closures. No other refunds provided.
Cat Skiing
Full payment is required at the time of booking. A minimum of 5 guests is required to go out for the day. If there are not 5 guests booked for your day, we will contact you about a reschedule or refund.
Full refund is provided up to 30 days prior to arrival, 50% refund between 10 and 30 days of arrival, no refund or changes within 10 days of the scheduled trip. Requests for cancellations or changes may be made by emailing ticketmanager@skimonarch.com or calling 719.530.5105.
Monarch Cat Skiing reserves the right to cancel a trip at any time due to mechanical problems, avalanche danger or skiing conditions. A refund may be given, or the trip will be rescheduled.
Monarch Cat Skiing refund policy is based on guests receiving a minimum of five hours of skiing/riding time. This time will include lift rides, cat rides, orientation at the top of runs, re-grouping below, and, of course, skiing and riding! We do not guarantee a total number of runs or vertical, as this will be determined by snow conditions, group ability, and individual run logistics.
Any refund due to circumstances beyond our control will be based on time missed from the five-hour minimum of skiing/riding time. The value of each hour is calculated on the cost of the individual seat or full cat divided by five. This number is multiplied by the number of hours lost from the minimum and will constitute the amount of a refund.
Monarch Cat Skiing does not provide refunds for a guest’s failure to arrive on time, group or individual “no shows”, injury, the inability to ski/ride the terrain or conditions, lost skiers/riders, or for any other personal emergencies or issues.
