The top terminal foundation for the new lift in No Name Basin is coming together. The concrete for this foundation is poured in two separate events. The slab or spread footer is poured first a few weeks earlier. This footer will be completely underground and provides the base for the foundation. Secondly, the vertical column concrete is poured. The rebar in this vertical column ties into the slab foundation rebar matting and provides a solid unit in which the top drive terminal can be built upon. Conduit is placed within the column pour so that electrical lines can run from the ground up to the drive componentry. Once the concrete cures, the forms will be stripped and the numerous parts that form the top drive system can begin to be put in place.
