Enjoy the mountain with your child! The Butterflies program is designed for new or progressing skiers with an experienced accompanying adult. This unique program allows young kids who are not yet old enough to ride a chair lift alone to experience more of the mountain. Choose either Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

In this 6-week program, participants will develop strong foundational skills within their ability, matched in groups to become more confident skiers and riders. From discovering new fundamentals on green terrain, to exploring blue runs with efficient technique, our focus will be to enjoy the all-mountain experience while safely progressing your student’s skiing and riding abilities.

Already shredding at a higher level? If your student is already skiing/riding on more challenging terrain, upper-level groups will embrace the all-mountain adventure in a variety of conditions and terrain including cruisers, glades, jumps, bumps, powder, terrain parks, and extreme terrain.

All program participants are under the supervision of our topnotch, Certified Ski & Ride School Instructors throughout the course of the program. Choose either Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

If you’re looking to enroll your child in an additional program day, cost would be an additional $479 to include Fridays or Sundays, or an additional $519 to include Saturdays.

For skiers or boarders, Intermediate to Advanced levels able to ski or snowboard blue and black runs at Monarch and load and unload the chairlift independently. Focus is on competitive development and involvement in Monarch’s IFSA competition. Program athletes participate in Monarch’s Town Challenge and Cooper Cup racing as part of their competitive development experience.

If you’d like to enroll your child in both Fridays AND Saturdays (16 sessions), the cost would be an additional $539.

For skiers or boarders, Intermediate to Advanced levels. Focus is on competitive advancement & participation in International Freeskiers & Snowboarders Association (IFSA) Rocky Mountain Regional and National competitions. Previous participation in Monarch’s Intro to Comp or Freeride programs, or proof of participation in an IFSA program from another resort is required.
