The wind was howling and the snow was coming down. I know that the bluebird-pow day is the quintessential Colorado ski experience. However, there is something about skiing on a storm day where each successive run gets better. Tracks are filled in, the new snow depth grows with each hour and oftentimes the crowds leave early…or maybe it’s just that I can’t see them through the wind and snow! Things look to continue overnight and tomorrow just may be that classic CO type of ski day.
