Decker Fire

Our community is facing a challenge with the Decker Fire burning above the town of Salida. Many of our Monarch friends and family have been evacuated from their homes this week. The weather has not been cooperating with dry and windy conditions persisting. A Type 1 Incident Management Team has assumed command of the fire and the air has been buzzing with K-Max and Blackhawk Helicopters dumping water on the fire while fixed wing aircraft paint the hillside with retardant. We are grateful for their efforts and have all that are affected by this fire in our thoughts. Updated information about the fire and evacuations can be found on the Inciweb Website and the Decker Fire Facebook Page espanolviagra.net.
