Many of us that work at the mountain take off to the desert after the ski season ends.  After months on the snow in the Colorado Rockies, trading our skis for rafts or bikes unveils a new adventure in the desert. Among the red rocks and endless skies, the desert offers fresh challenges and the landscape contrasts sharply from the snow capped peaks of the winter season. The warm weather and rugged terrain is a welcome change from the cold and snow.  Enjoying the moment, as there is surely more snow when I return.
