It’s always great to get the mountain open in November as it builds the momentum for the season. While natural snow is always worth the wait, this time delays our team’s work on the mountain and our guest’s confidence in planning their days skiing and riding. Once our crews are up here, we start pushing out and prepping for additional offerings in lifts, terrain and services. The Patrol Crew was already working on stringing the Panorama ridge ropes today, ski-cutting some of this terrain, and double checking our snowfences. We have quite a storm coming this week and want to be ready to open more lifts and terrain as soon as possible. The next priorities for our Mtn Ops team is opening Sleepy Hollow/KC’s to connect the frontside terrain, followed by getting the Panorama lift turning with Skywalker and the intermediate terrain, and lastly opening the Tubing Park. Looking to have all of these open in subsequent days after this next round of snow. Let’s go.
