One of our projects that will be a major improvement for the skiing experience is a grading project on Mule Train. This area was identified, studied, and approved during with our No Name Construction Implementation Plan but due to the construction timeline we decided to hold off on it last summer. For any of you who got to ski down Mule Train this season I’m sure you know the exact location that this grading is taking place. With the low snowfall this past season, our snowcat operators were only able to build a narrow road across this side hill section at the merge of Snowblind and Mule Train and that prevented us from being able to groom this run on a consistent basis. This project will be a huge help getting this trail open and skiable during early season conditions. A big thanks to Larry and Tommy from Lowry Contracting for once again making out our crazy ideas a reality.
