In my earlier post on November 23rd, I outlined our upcoming goals for trail/lift openings and tubing operations. With the huge storm and the dedication of our Mtn Ops team, we have accomplished all of those goals in six days. We now turn to opening our next lift and big piece of terrain. The Patrol team has conducted ski cutting over the last few days, hung tower pads on Breezeway yesterday and is stringing boundary and other rope closures today. Our grooming crew has been dozing and tilling snow on Ramble On and Little Mo. We plan to open Breezeway on Saturday with the following trails open; B’s Bash, Doc’s Run, Geno’s, Little Mo, Lower Hall’s Alley, Ramble On, Upper Hall’s Alley. Outback and Shag will be a few more days, but likely won’t be far behind. Our park crew will get to work in Steel City over the next week or so. (BTW…Keep your eyes on Tilt for some terrain park feature offerings this weekend). Uphill access will open on Little Mo at the time of the Breezeway Lift’s official opening. We are shooting for a 9am opening but there could be a few last minute items to take care of in the morning. We plan to open our early morning access for uphill traffic opening at 6am on SUNDAY MORNING on the Little Mo ski trail. Nothing but good news around here and even more to be thankful for this week!
