This might be my favorite fall photo! The trails in No Name Basin are just about complete and look amazing from this perspective with the fall colors in the foreground. The timber crew has pulled the harvesters and forwarders off the mountain while their Timber Pro masticator is still on the job site polishing up the last few trails on skier’s right. Our road contractor and patrol crew are working through October putting finishing touches on the ditch work and erosion control for the service road built thus far.
We still have the lower section of the road to build out to the bottom terminal location next summer. Additionally, there were a few challenging areas for tree cutting that we were unable to operate machinery in that will need to be addressed over snow in the spring and finished up in the summer months. Of course, we still have a lift to install next year as well! All in all it has been a very productive summer and we are in a good spot for starting up again in 2025.
