We conducted several tours of the No Name Basin terrain last week.  These included the USFS site visit; a marketing tour with photographers, videographers, and drone work; and a day with local and state legislators.  We are getting a good idea of what this experience will be like with a few groomed trails, open glades, powder stashes, and a very different vibe on the western side of the Divide.  On this backside of the mountain, there is no base lodge, highway traffic, or lifts operating and its a totally different feel.  Even when the lift is installed, the bottom terminal will only be the return bullwheel as the motor room and electric drive will be located on top of the ridge.  So, as you roll down the undulating terrain, all you hear is the sound of your skis on snow and the western breeze blowing through the trees.  This is going to be a great experience and we can’t wait to share it with everyone next season.
