Our Cat Skiing team ventured up to Mirkwood on Monday. The MCS operators were able to use snow caught by our temporary snowfences to establish the over the snow road from the top of Breezeway to the top of Mirkwood. This is always a big step branching out into this terrain. Once these snow roads are established, we can really start working this terrain and prep it for skiing/riding. We made a few laps through Mirkwood Trees evaluating snow conditions and beginning our initial avalanche mitigation work. There were also strides made in pushing the snow road beyond Mirkwood towards the cat skiing terrain on Waterdog Ridge. Great progress on the last day of November!
