With this recent storm, our slope maintenance operators are starting to track-pack some of our trails.  They are focusing primarily on our low angle and easiest trails along with a few intermediate ones.  This process helps to compact layers while creating a rippled surface where additional snowfall can adhere to.  It’s always a great sign that winter is on the way when we see our snowcats back on the mountain.  Keep watching those forecasts and stay tuned.
