The retaining wall replacement is another project that is well underway. The railroad tie wall is being replaced by a professionally built Redi-Rock Ledgestone retaining wall. Should be a very nice upgrade and a much improved look for our guests approaching the plaza and ticket window area.

Lenticular

We get some really wild lenticular clouds over Salida that roll off the northern end of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range. It’s like a standing wave in the sky and they usually hint at some moisture to come in the next day or two. Wouldn’t mind a little rain!
