What a storm! It started on Friday afternoon and quickly improved conditions. Early in the storm, the temps were warm and then tapered off as it developed. This makes for great skiing that only gets better. The warm and dense snow quickly covers up any sun crusts or other surface features that may affect your turn. As this piled up and the temps dropped, the deep and fluffy snow was absolutely amazing by Sunday morning. We totaled 19″ of snow in 48 hours from this latest round. It looks like a bit of a weather lull here on Monday and Tuesday before things ramp up again. Frequent snowfall begins again on Wednesday and is forecasted to continue into next weekend. Time to come up and enjoy primo mid-winter conditions.
