It may get some pretty flowers from time to time but Canadian Thistle is an invasive species that we try and keep the mountain clear of.  We are always on the lookout for patches of thistle such as this one and are ready to pull and bag it so that it doesn’t spread.  Keeping Monarch free if invasive species is one of the many small things our crew is always working on so that we are good stewards of the land.
