On Saturday Chad Hixon, Executive Director of the Trails Preservation Alliance (and former Monarch Patroller and Snowcat Guide), teamed up with Central Colorado Mountain Riders and the US Forest Service Salida Ranger District to host a cleanup day on a section of the Rainbow Trail in Howard.  Monarch has always had close connections and is proud to support all of these excellent organizations.  20 current and former members of Monarch’s team showed up to support the cause by raking trail and establishing new drainages to prevent future damage to the trail.  We are all a little sore today but feeling good that we could all show out for a great cause.
