It was a blustery and stormy day. We had some challenging winds and limited lift operations with just Garfield and Pano spinning today. However, these two lifts provide access to about fifty named trails, so there was still plenty to go around. These type of days start off with good skiing that only gets better throughout the day. We reported a few inches at 5:30am but picked up another 5+” on our board by the end of the day. There was a lot more than that out there if you pay attention to wind direction and loading! With some lift and terrain closures today, it only means that there is some fresh waiting for us tomorrow on the Breezeway side of the mountain. It looks like we have some additional snow in the forecast as we head into the weekend and there appears to be more in store next week. It’s not over yet.
