We have received FIVE feet of snow here in the last ten days.  The mountain has been completely transformed into a winter wonderland.  Thin areas are covered, lines in the trees have opened up, and we have a solid base that will see us through any future dry spells.  Kudos to the Mountain Ops teams for getting through a very challenging weekend with the deep snow, high winds, holiday skiers/riders, and highway closures.  If you haven’t been up since the series of storms covered Monarch Mountain, do yourself a favor and get up to enjoy these amazing conditions.
