The Mountain Ops team has been clearing our access roads and evaluating the runoff. The western side got a head start during the unusually warm month of March. So, our access opened up fairly quickly on this side – although we did still have some drifts and consolidated snow on portions of our roadway. Each spring, we look to ensure that runoff from the slopes and our service roads is staying in the established waterways and addressing any potential erosion issues early. This year looks to be one of the easier years to manage, although the summer monsoon season can always change this. With that in mind, we’ll be keeping an eye out for Super El Ñino this summer!
