Each fall we schedule and receive our annual licensing inspection with the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board. This inspection takes place at every ski area and other attractions in the State of Colorado that feature a conveyance. These inspections are conducted by an alternating group of lift engineers that work closely with the CPTSB. So, each season we host a new inspector that facilitates a very detailed evaluation of our aerial and surface lifts. Each one is closely examined and put through a series of tests during the inspection. Maintenance records and other documentation is also verified as part of the process. The Lift Maintenance crew works extremely hard all summer maintaining all of the lifts at Monarch and we are very appreciative of our talented team! Soon, we will have our licenses in hand for the 2022-23 winter season. One more step.
