Finally, a reprieve from the madness! We don’t have to take it anymore … that’s right, it finally snowed again! This morning we arrived and actually had to shovel our way in. Without a doubt the mountain was getting pretty beat up and this new layer will add a nice blanket of cover. There is more in the forecast as well, so it seems like Mother Nature has decided to lend a helping hand.
I promised we’d see a new food outlet at the bottom of Pano in what we call the “Pano Flats” area by MLK weekend. Sure enough we were able to pull it off with just about every department we have participating in its relocation. Shredders has been very well received, so much so we are rushing out to get more of those Adirondack chairs. It truly is one of the coolest little changes we have made in many years. Next season it will be even better with a deck, built in bar, and actual vault toilets for hombres and mujeres. With any luck we will also work on some of the projects we deferred last summer. I’ll keep you posted as to what we have in mind as soon as I know for sure. See you on the slopes!
