Thought it was time for an update here. We are currently still working our way through the NEPA process with the No Name expansion proposal. As mentioned in an earlier blog post, we had several specialists visit the area last summer and fall. We recently had a site visit with the USFS and the SE Group. The specialists reports are being compiled to better detail areas of avoidance and to help identify locations where trails and other improvements may be considered. The next step will be dialing in the conceptual design prior to the release of the Notice of Proposed Action. After this is released, the next phase will involve public participation and comments. This will be followed by additional steps as this plan is considered. Stay tuned!
