Ski-Way

The crew from Lowry Contracting has been hard at work dozing in the ski-ways on the western side of the Continental Divide.  These will travel in opposite directions from the top lift terminal and provide access to the additional trail network that drops off below these groomed cat tracks.  This is a look at the skier’s left ski-way with the current Great Divide ski trail descending from the top of the Panorama lift visible in the upper left of the image.  This ski-way will be a named trail and will also serve a double purpose as the upper stretch of our service road that will ultimately reach down to the bottom of No Name Basin and the return lift terminal. Our crew will come in behind this work with additional erosion control measures and revegetation efforts.  The project is coming along nicely and a lot of work has been accomplished in the last month.
