While we are in this unusual warm and dry spell here in the heart of what should be winter, the skiing conditions have still been a lot of fun. Over the last few weeks we have been skiing a mix of groomers, corn, bumps, and chalky snow under bluebird skies. The latter condition is actually a bit more rare for us and provides some really fun skiing and riding. The north facing slopes have stayed a bit cooler, but have also been buffed by the wind. This has left a smooth and chalky surface that’s easy to set an edge and let them rip down the face. While we wait for the next powder day, class is in session.
