Last week we had our annual Tree Day at Monarch where we planted 1200 baby Engleman Spruce and Lodgepole pines.  This has been a big collaborative project with the United States Forest Service, and our crew has now planted over 8000 trees since the summer of 2020.  Trees grow very slowly at this high of altitude so these will be the trees that our kids and grandkids will be enjoying.  It feels great to pay it forward to allow future generations the chance to enjoy this mountain as much as we do.
