Since closing the ski area, our crew has been busy skidding timber over snow in No Name Basin. We had a few spots where we were unable to operate machinery in last summer due to existing wetlands or other conditions. So, our plan was to address these in spring of 2025 while the snowpack still provided protection for any sensitive ground below. Our team of sawyers went in initially and fell the trees before and immediately after closing the ski area. Our operators and ground crew are now using snowcats to skid the timber to adjacent deck sites that are clear of these riparian zones. The team has been making good progress but we still have a long list of action items in No Name Basin. Stay tuned.
