As mentioned in several earlier posts, we have some really great snow overall with just a few skinny areas along the ridgeline. We side stepped Romp today to assist with setting up a stable base instead of dropping a 22k lb. winch cat down the face and risk pulling up debris with the tracks or winch cable. The soft ridges will ski out easily and should help to set this trail up for the weekend and next week’s storm cycle. Please remember that there are early season conditions and some unmarked hazards do exist on the mountain. I’ll shoot out a post tomorrow with our anticipated lift and trail opening list for Friday. Can’t wait to ski and ride with all of you!
