As I had hoped for in another post earlier this season, I really wanted to get over on Monarch Ridge and ski this recently logged area. With the new snow this weekend, the glades did not disappoint. They ski just as nicely as they look with clean lines top to bottom. Our snowpack has recently stabilized to a point where more backcountry lines are starting to see a sufficient reduction in the avalanche hazard. Be sure to get the avalanche forecast before venturing into the backcountry!
