The Tumbelina Lift (or Tumbo as we know it) opened today. As described in an earlier post, the Tumbelina Lift received a major upgrade this summer. A huge shout-out to our Lift Maintenance staff for pulling this project off in collaboration with the crew over at Skytrac Lifts. While getting the Tumbelina Lift does not necessarily open any additional terrain that can’t be accessed via the Pioneer Lift, it really helps out Monarch’s new skiers/riders and our Ski & Ride School staff. As one of the oldest ski areas in Colorado, It’s imperative that we continue to promote the enjoyment of winter sports and to cultivate new skiers and riders. Enjoy the upgraded ride & the lesson!
